OpenArt 是什么

先用一两句话说清楚。

OpenArt is a web studio by San Francisco's OpenArt, Inc. that runs 100+ image, video and audio models from ByteDance, Google, OpenAI and others under one credit balance, plus Director, which turns a chat into a video of up to five minutes. Plans cost US$14 to US$240 a month, commercial use from US$34. Credits run out fast and are non-refundable.

主要功能

它能做什么,每项一句话,以及我们有没有实测。

  • 100+ models on one credit balance

Runs other makers' models from one account, among them Seedance 2.5, Kling 4.0, Veo 3.1, Wan 3.0, MiniMax H3, GPT Image 2.6, Nano Banana 2.1, FLUX 3 and ElevenLabs voices.

Per OpenArt's model index on November 3, 2026, which marks Sora 2 as no longer available.

  • Director

Turns a chat into a multi-scene video of up to five minutes: script, storyboard, consistent characters, voices in nine languages with lip sync, then changes by chat or on a timeline.

Launched June 23, 2026, per OpenArt's announcement. Its pricing page allows about 2 minutes of Director a month on Starter and about 50 on Wonder.

  • Chat Mode

Takes a plain request, picks the model and settings, queues up to eight images or videos at once, reads a pasted URL and shows the credit cost before generating; chatting itself is free.

Per OpenArt's Chat Mode page and its overview post of September 3, 2026.

  • Characters

Saves a face or figure from one reference image or a prompt and reuses it in image tools, video tools, Director, Smart Shot and Worlds.

Per OpenArt's Characters page; plans allow about 13 new characters a month on Starter and about 353 on Wonder.

  • Worlds

Builds a 3D scene you can move through from up to four images or a prompt, lets you place characters and props, and exports Gaussian splats for Blender or Unreal.

Per OpenArt's Worlds page and llms-full.txt, Worlds runs on World Labs' technology.

  • Video effects and dubbing

VFX swaps backgrounds, relights or restyles masked parts of footage you shot; Dub Video translates a clip of up to 180 seconds into up to 10 languages and re-syncs the lips.

Per OpenArt's llms-full.txt; VFX runs on Beeble's SwitchX model and outputs 720p or 1080p.

  • MCP server and CLI

Generates from ChatGPT through a plugin, from Claude, Cursor or Kimi through mcp.openart.ai, or from a terminal with an MIT-licensed CLI, using the same plan credits.

Per OpenArt's MCP page. Its help center, checked November 3, 2026, says no public API is available; Enterprise plans list API access.

  • Business and Enterprise workspaces

Shared credit pools that do not reset monthly, up to 50 users on Business, roles, spend caps, SSO, model allowlists, IP checks on references and optional IP indemnification.

Per OpenArt's pricing page: 150,000 credits cost US$680 a month or US$496 billed yearly.

  • Marketers and small brands making product, UGC-style and social ads from one account, on Plus or higher
  • Creators running a recurring character or AI influencer across stills and video
  • Storytellers who want a short film, music video or micro-drama planned from a chat instead of stitched clip by clip
  • People who want to compare Seedance, Kling, Veo and the main image models without separate subscriptions

解决的问题

  • Keeping one face and one set consistent across images and video
  • Turning an idea into a multi-scene video without editing software
  • Paying several model makers' apps separately
  • Keeping a campaign on brand with saved logos, colors and rules

擅长什么

别人公开做过的测试:给了它什么、结果怎样。

  1. 案例 1

In MeasureU's July 2026 post, sponsored by OpenArt, Jeff Sauer asked Director for a 30-second ad by voice

    输入

One spoken sentence: a 30-second promo for his pricing tools about freelancers who do not know what to charge, cinematic but realistic; Director's 'Guide me' mode, vertical 1080p.

    结果

Director's assistant, Ori, named the project, wrote a two-scene script and rendered the ad in about 10 to 15 minutes; he judged it good enough to run. On-screen numbers came out backwards until he reworked the shots, he ran out of credits before finishing revisions (about 112 credits a second by his estimate), and he had to start a subscription before it would render.

  2. 案例 2

Physion Labs' Arc 1.0 Anime track, opened September 2, 2026: nine video agents given the same anime briefs

    输入

100 anime prompts for videos of about one minute, text-only or with one or several references; every video scored by human annotators on 19 metrics.

    结果

OpenArt Director came first at 78.6 out of 100, ahead of c.ai's Anime Agent 1.0 (76.5), Invideo Agent One (70.1) and Runway Agent 2.0 (69.7), and led 11 of the 19 metrics; Anime Agent 1.0 scored slightly higher on narrative coherence. Higgsfield Supercomputer came last at 54.5.

  3. 案例 3

Physion Labs' Arc 1.0 Ads and Marketing track: real ad briefs turned into finished ads

    输入

100 ad briefs run by every agent and scored on 24 metrics for brief fidelity, production quality and ad effectiveness; all scores recomputed on October 20, 2026 when two more agents joined.

    结果

OpenArt placed third at 66.8, behind Frameo Manto 2.0 (71.8) and Runway Agent 2.0 (68.6) and just ahead of Higgsfield Supercomputer (66.6). When the track opened on September 20 with five agents, OpenArt and Runway shared first place, the result OpenArt's own post still reports.

  4. 案例 4

AffMaven's twelve months on paid OpenArt seats (review updated September 21, 2026); the site sells OpenArt through a coupon code

    输入

Product stills and lifestyle sets, UGC-style ad hooks from one product photo, AI-influencer stills with Character 2.0, Director drafts of 15 to 60 seconds, VFX background swaps on phone footage, and dubbing into Spanish and Portuguese.

    结果

AffMaven rated OpenArt 4.5 out of 5 for volume work and consistent characters. It found Starter's 4,000 credits often could not finish one Director film because chat, planning and stills are billed before the render, called Plus the real entry plan for commercial work, and preferred Higgsfield for ads that must look filmed by a real creator.

  5. 案例 5

OpenArt's own price comparison with Higgsfield (published November 2, 2026, prices checked October 30)

    输入

One 5-second 720p clip on four models, priced at OpenArt Pro (US$56 for 24,000 credits) and Higgsfield Plus (then US$59 for 1,200 credits), monthly billing.

    结果

OpenArt came out cheaper on Seedance 2.5 (US$1.52 against US$1.72), Seedance 2.0 (US$0.93 against US$1.48) and MiniMax H3 (US$0.70 against US$0.98), and dearer on Kling 4.0 (US$1.40 against US$0.68). A vendor's comparison: OpenArt picked the models and the plans.

短板

做得不好的地方和证据,以及我们还没法定论的地方。

做得不好

做得不好

  • Video and Director use up credits fast.

证据: OpenArt's own November 2 guide prices a 5-second 720p Seedance 2.5 clip at 650 credits, so Starter's 4,000 cover about six, or one short Director project. MeasureU's sponsored test ran out of credits mid-revision; AffMaven, an affiliate, found Starter often cannot finish one Director film.

  • Refunds are the exception and plan credits expire.

证据: Section 3.6 of the terms (July 30, 2026) makes purchases non-refundable unless the law requires otherwise, with no prorated refunds; the help center says completed generations and active periods are generally not refunded. Plan credits reset every 30 days and are lost when a subscription ends.

  • Starter has no commercial rights.

证据: Section 4.1 of the terms allows commercial use only from Plus (US$34 a month, US$27 billed yearly), and only the Plus, Pro and Wonder cards list it; OpenArt's llms-full.txt only says 'eligible paid plans'.

  • The old app's Stories and custom models are going away.

证据: The previous version of OpenArt retires on November 16, 2026; Stories and custom models cannot move to the new version and can be downloaded only until December 31, 2026.

  • Its own pages contradict each other.

证据: On November 3 the homepage still offered Sora 2, which its model page calls no longer available; llms-full.txt says trial output has no watermark while the terms and its November 2 guide say free output may carry one; the help center still promises Stories of up to 3 minutes and says images cost 5 to 50 credits, while the pricing page counts about one credit per image.

  • The privacy policy is generic and allows sharing.

证据: The policy (March 4, 2026) lets OpenArt share data with marketing partners, including non-affiliates, cites the old EU-US Safe Harbor framework, and claims Gramm-Leach-Bliley coverage to say California's privacy law does not apply. The terms let it pass prompts, references and outputs to model providers.

  • Not for single-model users, developers who need an API, or anyone who needs refunds.

证据: OpenArt's own table puts a 5-second Kling 4.0 clip at about twice Higgsfield's price; its help center, checked November 3, 2026, says no public API is available; the terms rule out refunds except where law requires them.

尚不确定

尚不确定

  • What a finished minute of Director video costs.

原因: OpenArt's pricing page and help center, checked November 3, 2026, give no per-minute Director rate. Its plan table implies about 2,000 credits a minute on Starter (about 33 a second); Jeff Sauer estimated about 112 credits a second on a 1080p ad with revisions, in a post OpenArt sponsored.

  • Whether its benchmark wins hold.

原因: Physion recomputes every score when an agent joins, and OpenArt fell from shared first to third on the ads track on October 20, 2026. OpenArt Arena is its own leaderboard, and VentureBeat reported on September 15 that OpenArt had not provided judge, vote or prompt counts.

  • What model providers do with your inputs.

原因: The help center says OpenArt does not train on your uploads, but Section 5.4 of the terms lets it share prompts, reference images and outputs with model partners to operate and improve the service; the terms checked November 3, 2026 name neither the partners nor how long they keep the data.

  • Its user and revenue figures.

原因: 10 million creators, 8 million monthly users and annual revenue above US$100 million are OpenArt's own claims, and Newcomer's report of US$70 million in annual recurring revenue at the end of 2025 does not say how it was measured.

常见问题

先给结论,再讲原因、例子、限制和下一步。

Is OpenArt free?

OpenArt is free only as a 7-day trial: new accounts get 40 one-time credits with no credit card, which its plan table counts as about 40 images and no videos. After that the cheapest plan is Starter at US$14 a month, or US$13 billed yearly, for 4,000 credits.

限制

OpenArt's llms.txt mentions a daily free allowance for basic images after the trial, but the pricing page, checked November 3, 2026, does not list it. Free output may carry a watermark that the terms forbid removing, and unpublished creations of accounts that never subscribed are deleted after 7 days.

How much does OpenArt cost?

OpenArt costs US$14, US$34, US$56 or US$240 a month for the Starter, Plus, Pro and Wonder plans, or US$13, US$27, US$44 and US$175 a month billed yearly, for 4,000 to 106,000 credits. Extra credits cost US$15 a month per 5,000 and need Plus or higher.

原因

These plans replaced Essential, Advanced and Infinite in mid-2026. On June 1, 2026 the yearly rates were US$7, US$14.50, US$28 and US$120 a month, so yearly billing now costs 46% to 86% more.

How many credits does an OpenArt video use?

A 5-second 720p Seedance 2.5 clip uses 650 credits, by OpenArt's own November 2026 comparison, so Starter's 4,000 credits buy about six. Calculated from OpenArt's own dollar prices in the same comparison, the same clip uses about 400 credits on Seedance 2.0, 300 on MiniMax H3 and 600 on Kling 4.0.

限制

The help center's rough guide is 100 to 800+ credits per video and 5 to 50 per image, and costs follow the model makers' prices. Director bills planning and every scene; the plan table allows about 2 minutes of Director a month on Starter.

Can I use OpenArt images and videos commercially?

Commercial use of OpenArt output needs the Plus plan (US$34 a month, US$27 billed yearly) or higher, under Section 4.1 of its terms. The free trial and Starter allow non-commercial use only, and OpenArt claims no ownership of what you make.

限制

You remain responsible if an output infringes someone's rights; the terms disclaim the accuracy of its IP check, and on November 3, 2026 the pricing page listed IP indemnification only for Business and Enterprise.

Can I get a refund from OpenArt?

Refunds are rare: OpenArt's terms make all purchases non-refundable except where the law requires a refund, and its help center says completed generations and active subscription periods are generally not refunded. The one exception its help center describes is an annual plan bought by mistake, which support can switch to monthly with a partial refund minus a fee of at least 10%.

限制

Failed generations are refunded in credits in most cases, per the help center; for money, the terms, checked November 3, 2026, promise no refund beyond what the law requires.

How do I cancel my OpenArt subscription?

You cancel OpenArt under Profile, Subscription, Cancel Plan, at least five days before the renewal date to avoid the next charge. Access and remaining credits last until the end of the paid month or year.

限制

Unused plan credits are lost when the period ends, and add-on credit packs are cancelled with the plan.

Is OpenArt safe and legit?

OpenArt is a real, funded company: OpenArt, Inc. of San Francisco raised a US$30 million Series A led by Canaan Partners in January 2026 and joined the 2026 Disney Accelerator. The risks are about billing rather than fraud: its terms make purchases non-refundable, plan credits reset monthly, and both AffMaven and a sponsored test by MeasureU warn that video credits run out quickly.

限制

Its privacy policy allows sharing with marketing partners, and its terms let it pass prompts, reference images and outputs to its model providers.

Does OpenArt use my uploads to train AI?

OpenArt's help center says it does not use your uploads or creations to train its models. Section 5.4 of its terms still lets it share your prompts, reference images and outputs with its AI model partners to operate and improve the service.

限制

On November 3, 2026 the only statement found that OpenArt never trains on customer data was in its Enterprise description, and the partners and their retention are not named.

How long can OpenArt videos be?

Single OpenArt clips run up to 15 seconds on most models and up to 30 seconds on Seedance 2.5, Wan 3.0 and Kling 4.0, while Director assembles videos of up to five minutes. Kling 4.0's page adds an Extend Video tool that continues a clip to about 2 minutes.

限制

The help center still offers One Click Story for videos of up to 3 minutes, but Stories retire with the old app on November 16, 2026.

What happens to my OpenArt Stories and custom models?

OpenArt Stories and custom models retire with the previous version of OpenArt on November 16, 2026 and cannot be moved to the new version. Images, videos, audio, Characters, subscriptions and credits carry over unchanged.

下一步

Download Story videos and asset ZIPs, and custom models as .safetensors files, from the download page before December 31, 2026, 11:59 PM PST.

OpenArt vs Higgsfield: which is cheaper?

OpenArt is cheaper per clip on Seedance and MiniMax and Higgsfield on Kling 4.0, by OpenArt's own comparison of 5-second 720p clips on similarly priced plans: Seedance 2.5 cost US$1.52 on OpenArt Pro against US$1.72 on Higgsfield Plus, and Kling 4.0 US$1.40 against US$0.68.

限制

OpenArt wrote that comparison with Higgsfield's October 30 prices. On November 3 Higgsfield's Plus plan cost US$49 for 1,000 credits instead of US$59 for 1,200, about the same per credit.

Does OpenArt have an API or a mobile app?

OpenArt runs in a web browser, and its help center, checked November 3, 2026, says no public API and no mobile app are available. Developers can generate through its MCP server or its CLI with the same credits, and API access is listed only for Enterprise.

This review is built from what could be checked on November 3, 2026: OpenArt's own site, pricing page, terms, help center and blog, archived copies of its pricing page from June to August 2026, Physion Labs' video-agent leaderboards, reporting by Newcomer, VentureBeat and Blooloop, a sponsored test by MeasureU, a review by the affiliate site AffMaven, issues filed on OpenArt's GitHub, and rivals' pricing pages. Each claim is labelled by who made it, because much of the evidence comes from OpenArt itself or from people paid to promote it.

What OpenArt is

OpenArt is a browser studio that resells other companies' AI models and adds its own tools on top. OpenArt, Inc. was founded in San Francisco in 2022 by Coco Mao (CEO) and John Qiao (CTO), who had worked together at Google's Area 120. It began as a gallery of AI images; today one subscription buys credits for more than 100 image, video and audio models, by its own count, plus Director, Characters, Worlds, Chat Mode, Brand Kit and video effects. It is not part of OpenAI, as its About page notes.

Sacra's October 2026 research note files OpenArt and Higgsfield together as orchestrators of other companies' video models, competing with Runway for marketing and ad production. The numbers OpenArt gives about itself are large: 10 million creators and 700 million generations on its About page, 8 million monthly active users and annual recurring revenue above US$100 million in its September 15 press release. Newcomer, which reported its funding exclusively on January 31, 2026, put its annual recurring revenue at US$70 million at the end of 2025, up from US$10 million. All of them are the company's own figures.

What changed in 2026

  • January 31: a US$30 million Series A led by Canaan Partners, with Basis Set and DCM, reported by Newcomer and The SaaS News. OpenArt puts its total funding at US$35 million.
  • February 23: a new workspace, OpenArt Suite, with Characters and Worlds that are built once and reused across tools.
  • June 23: Director, a chat-driven agent that plans and renders films of up to five minutes. A week later OpenArt added 720p and 1080p Lite qualities that it says cut Director's cost by up to half.
  • June to August: the plans were renamed and the yearly discount cut (table below).
  • Summer: OpenArt joined the 2026 Disney Accelerator, according to its own release and Blooloop.
  • September: Chat Mode, OpenArt Arena (its own model leaderboard), and two Physion Labs results it announced as first places.
  • November 16: the previous version of OpenArt retires. Stories and custom models made there do not move to the new version; both can be downloaded until December 31, 2026, according to its retirement FAQ.

The price change is the one buyers feel. Compare the June 1 archive of the pricing page with the page today:

Credits per plan stayed the same: 4,000, 12,000, 24,000 and 106,000 a month. The July 3 archive already shows the yearly discount cut from 50% to between 10% and 27%; by August 4 the new names were live. Monthly prices are unchanged except for the middle plan, which went from US$29 to US$34, while yearly billing now costs between 46% (Wonder) and 86% (Starter and Plus) more than at the old rates.

WonderUS$240US$175106,000About 1,300 videos, or 50 minutes of DirectorYes

Extra credits cost US$15 a month per 5,000 and need Plus or higher; unlike plan credits, unused add-on credits roll over. Business plans pool credits for up to 50 users: 150,000 credits cost US$680 a month, or US$496 billed yearly, and do not reset monthly.

The "about 50 videos" on Starter assumes cheap models. OpenArt's own comparison of November 2 prices one 5-second 720p Seedance 2.5 clip at 650 credits, so Starter's 4,000 credits buy about six of them, which OpenArt equates to one short Director project. Calculated from OpenArt's own dollar prices in that comparison, at Pro's rate of 24,000 credits for US$56, the same clip costs about 400 credits on Seedance 2.0, 300 on MiniMax H3 and 600 on Kling 4.0. Calculated the same way from OpenArt's Business plan card (150,000 credits for about 3,750 images), a Nano Banana Pro image costs about 40 credits. The help center's rough guide is 5 to 50 credits per image and 100 to 800+ per video, and it says credit costs move when model providers change their prices; the exact cost appears next to the Generate button.

Unlimited generation is a promotion, not a plan feature. Pro and Wonder get it on the models and dates named on the pricing page, it does not work through MCP or the CLI, and OpenArt may move heavy users to a slower queue. On November 3 the page offered Unlimited Creation on Wonder and 50% off Kling 4.0 for Pro and Wonder until November 20.

Director, Characters and Chat Mode

Director is the product OpenArt now leads with. You describe an idea, optionally adding a photo, song, voice, video, saved Characters or brand assets; Director writes a script, builds a storyboard, renders the scenes and joins them into one video of up to five minutes, with dialogue and lip sync in nine languages. Changes are given as notes in chat or made on a timeline.

Characters saves a face or figure from one reference image or a prompt and reuses it across image tools, video tools, Director and Worlds; plans cap new characters at about 13 a month on Starter and 353 on Wonder. Chat Mode, introduced in a September 3 post, takes plain requests, picks the model and settings, queues up to eight generations and shows the credit cost before it runs. Worlds turns up to four images or a prompt into a 3D scene that exports to Blender or Unreal. OpenArt also works inside ChatGPT, Claude, Cursor and Kimi through its MCP server, and ships an MIT-licensed CLI; MCP generations use the same credits as the website.

What public tests show

Benchmarks of Director. Physion Labs, which calls its Arc leaderboards independent, has human annotators score finished videos from AI video agents given the same 100 briefs. On November 3, 2026:

Physion Arc 1.0 trackOpenArt's placeLeaderOpenArt's score (0 to 100)
Anime, opened September 21st of 9OpenArt78.6; c.ai's Anime Agent 1.0 76.5, Higgsfield Supercomputer 54.5
Movie, OpenArt added September 62nd of 9Frameo Manto v1.0, 86.082.2
Ads and marketing, recomputed October 203rd of 7Frameo Manto 2.0, 71.866.8; Runway Agent 2.0 68.6

OpenArt's September 22 post says Director ranked first on the ads track, shared with Runway. That was true when the track opened on September 20 with five agents; after two more joined on October 20, Physion recomputed every score and OpenArt fell to third. OpenArt's anime post adds that Director scored highest at about 15% lower cost than the runner-up, a cost figure it reports itself.

A sponsored test of Director. Jeff Sauer of MeasureU, in a post OpenArt sponsored (July 13, 2026, updated October 22), spoke one sentence asking for a 30-second promo about freelancers who do not know what to charge. Director's assistant, Ori, named the project, wrote a two-scene script and rendered a vertical 1080p ad in about 10 to 15 minutes, which he judged good enough to run. On-screen numbers came out backwards until he reworked the shots, and he ran out of credits before finishing his revisions, at about 112 credits per second of video by his estimate. That is more than three times the rate implied by OpenArt's plan table, which allows about 2 minutes of Director on Starter's 4,000 credits.

A year of paid use. AffMaven, an affiliate site that sells OpenArt through a coupon code, says its team made product shots, UGC-style hooks, AI-influencer stills, Director drafts of 15 to 60 seconds, VFX and dubbed versions on paid seats for about twelve months (review updated September 21, 2026). It rated OpenArt 4.5 out of 5, called Plus the real starting plan because Starter lacks commercial rights, warned that Starter's credits often cannot finish one Director film because chat, planning and stills are billed before the render, and preferred Higgsfield when an ad has to look filmed by a real creator.

OpenArt's own price comparison. OpenArt's November 2 guide, with prices checked on October 30, compares one 5-second 720p clip at OpenArt Pro (US$56) and Higgsfield Plus (then US$59): Seedance 2.5 US$1.52 against US$1.72, Seedance 2.0 US$0.93 against US$1.48, MiniMax H3 US$0.70 against US$0.98, and Kling 4.0 US$1.40 against US$0.68. It is a competitor's comparison in which OpenArt chose the models and plans.

OpenArt Arena. OpenArt's own leaderboard, launched September 15, ranks models from blind side-by-side votes by named creative professionals and top OpenArt users. On November 3 its overall video board put Seedance 2.5 first (1,125), ahead of Wan 3.0 (1,047) and Seedance 2.0 (1,044). VentureBeat pointed out that OpenArt sells access to the models it ranks and reported that OpenArt had not provided the number of judges, votes or prompts per board. The launch press release on OpenArt's blog still contains a drafting note in square brackets saying OpenArt has yet to confirm more methodology details.

What users report

User feedback that could be opened directly is thin. OpenArt's public CLI repository on GitHub had four open issues on November 3, 2026, among them a September 10 report that image generation through the CLI could not set resolution or aspect ratio, which video generation could. AffMaven, after a year of paid use, named credit transparency on Director and support speed on lower tiers as the platform's weak points, and Jeff Sauer's sponsored test ended with his credits used up before his revisions were done.

Refunds, cancelling and commercial rights

  • Refunds: Section 3.6 of the terms (updated July 30, 2026) says all purchases are non-refundable unless the law requires a refund, with no prorated refunds. The help center adds that completed generations and active subscription periods are generally not refunded. The one exception the help center describes: an annual plan bought by mistake can be moved to monthly with a partial refund, minus a processing fee of at least 10%.
  • Cancelling: Profile, Subscription, Cancel Plan, at least five days before renewal to avoid the next charge. Access lasts to the end of the paid month or year.
  • Credits: plan credits reset every 30 days and do not roll over, and unused credits are lost when a subscription ends. Failed generations are refunded in most cases, according to the help center. The older help center says credits cannot be bought without a subscription.
  • Commercial use: every plan may use output non-commercially; commercial use starts at Plus (Section 4.1). OpenArt's llms-full.txt only says eligible paid plans, so read the plan card before buying Starter for client work.
  • Watermarks: output from a free plan may carry an OpenArt watermark, and removing it is a material breach of the terms (Section 4.5). OpenArt's llms-full.txt says trial output has no watermark; its terms and its November 2 guide say it can carry one.

Privacy, data and content policy

  • Training: the help center says OpenArt does not use your uploads or creations to train its models. Section 5.4 of the terms lets it share your prompts, reference images and outputs with its AI model partners to operate and improve the service, and on November 3, 2026 the only never-train promise found on its pages was in its Enterprise description.
  • License to your uploads: Section 5.3 grants OpenArt a perpetual, worldwide license to your uploads to run the service and to label and moderate content.
  • Retention: creations are private by default. Accounts that never subscribed keep unpublished creations for 7 days; after a subscription ends you have 14 days to download them.
  • Privacy policy: the policy (March 4, 2026) says OpenArt shares data with business and marketing partners, including non-affiliates who may market to you, which you can limit. It reads like a template: it cites the old EU-US Safe Harbor principles and claims coverage under the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act, a US law for financial institutions, to say California's consumer privacy law does not apply.
  • Content rules: users must be 18 or older. The terms ban sexually explicit content, deepfakes of real people and infringing material, and the help center says NSFW prompts are flagged. An IP check powered by CopySight rates images Safe, Warning or Unsafe; the terms disclaim its accuracy.
  • Disputes: individual arbitration under California law, with a class-action waiver.

Who should not use it

  • Anyone who may need their money back: refunds are the exception, and plan credits expire monthly.
  • Anyone who wants commercial rights for US$13 or US$14 a month: Starter does not include them.
  • Video-first users on a small budget: by OpenArt's own figures Starter covers about six 5-second Seedance 2.5 clips.
  • People who mostly use one model, especially Kling 4.0: OpenArt's own table puts a Kling 4.0 clip at about twice Higgsfield's price.
  • Developers who need a REST API: the help center, checked November 3, 2026, says no public API is available, only MCP and a CLI.
  • People who rely on Stories or custom models: both end with the old app on November 16, 2026.

Magnific, formerly FreepikAI models plus a 250-million-asset stock library€16 a month or €12 billed yearly for 240,000 credits a yearYou want credits that last a year and a written no-training promise

Magnific's pricing page showed euros. Krea's Basic plan includes only selected video models, and Runway's Standard credits buy about 52 seconds of Gen-4.5. Credits are different units on every site, so run the same short job on two of them and compare the cost per finished clip, not the credit count.
